NHS Stop Smoking Support Clinic
Quitting smoking is one of the most powerful and transformative choices you can make for your physical health, wellbeing, and personal finances. However, breaking the cycle of nicotine addiction can be incredibly challenging without professional support. Our dedicated NHS stop smoking service is here to guide you every step of the way.
Your Structured Pathway to Success
Statistically, you are up to four times more likely to quit successfully when supported by a trained healthcare professional. Our free NHS service delivers a structured, compassionate programme consisting of:
- One-to-One Coaching: Regular, private behavioral support sessions with a dedicated pharmacist to track your progress and manage psychological triggers.
- Nicotine Replacement Therapies (NRT): Access to regulated patches, gums, inhalators, or lozenges to satisfy physical cravings safely.
- Carbon Monoxide Monitoring: Regular breath tests that display real-time physical proof of your lungs clearing and healing.
Long-Term Health Transformation
Our program is built around your individual routine. We help you set a definitive quit date, select the exact products that align with your lifestyle, and maintain continuous accountability over several weeks until you are confidently smoke-free.

If you are normally exempt from standard NHS prescription charges, your nicotine replacement therapies (NRT) provided through the clinic are completely free. If you pay for prescriptions, the products are supplied at standard NHS levy rates.
The program typically runs over an 8 to 12-week framework. In the beginning, you will check in with your pharmacist once a week to review your cravings, measure your carbon monoxide levels, and collect your supply of support products.
Do not be discouraged if you experience a temporary lapse. Quitting is a journey, and slips are a normal part of breaking an addiction. Our pharmacists provide non-judgmental support to help analyze what triggered the slip and adjust your plan moving forward.
